Scale Weight

You need to understand that scale weight can fluctuate greatly with water retention. Normally water weight moves fast. Fat weight is slower. Weighing yourself regularly is a fantastic way of understanding the fluctuations within your body. Many things can promote weight gain as in a lot of carbs sodium in your diet, weather heat. Many of these things are out of your control and you'll just have to bear with the scale weight and trust the process in order to lose fat. But don't lose faith if the scale weight is not going in the direction you wish it to go. It is a case of trusting the process and being consistent which will see the results you wish. In some cases scale weight could say the same, but you could see yourself losing inches off your waist and to many this is the real goal we are aiming for.
Scale weight is just that it's a simple measure to give some indication of the direction of your fat loss, but it's not the ultimate gold as the ultimate girl is fat loss and not weight loss. Maintaining muscle mass is a key for everyone and being in a calorie deficit for long periods of time will cause muscle loss but by eating adequate protein and doing resistance training you can slow this process and help speed up fat loss.
